It’s Muhammad Ali Siddiqui here. You can call me by my middle name, Ali, or by my gamer tag, “Malisid.” I am the owner of this blog, Gaming Tech Series.

For anyone who is starting a blog, or has been running a well-performing one, it can be quite difficult to backlink exchange, or guest post for free, and I am well aware of this issue, as I face it quite often too.

This is known as a backlink exchange and is essentially a reciprocal link where each website provides a hyperlink to the other.

In simpler words, Gaming Tech Series will include your link to suitable content on their website, and in return, you would include their link to suitable content on your website – the easiest way of understanding backlink exchange.

What is Guest Post?

A guest post, also known as guest blogging, occurs when a person writes and publishes an article on another website or blog. The purpose of a guest post is to reach a larger audience, boost search engine results, and build the writer’s brand as an authority.

There are some brands/websites, which doesn’t accept direct backlink exchange – I don’t really know the reason but we get it, they just don’t accept it. If I were in their place, I would prefer writing new posts to offer backlink exchange on that post. So, they would give the option to write a guest post, where you both will write a post for each other and include 1 or more backlinks as agreed upon. 1 backlink is the most common backlink exchange quantity offered in the guest post.
